Keiatta, lovingly known as Mama Kei, is the founder and spiritual vessel behind Rooted Doula Services. Her work is divinely rooted in honoring the womb as sacred ground and birth as a rite of passage. She serves as a guide, protector, and witness, holding space for wombmen to return to self, spirit, and ancestral alignment throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. With deep reverence for the wisdom carried in our bloodlines, her care centers on the release of generational trauma and the restoration of trust in the body’s innate ability to birth. She walks alongside Black and Brown wombmen, offering grounding, advocacy, and spiritual protection in spaces where they have too often been silenced or unseen. As a mother of four, she brings lived wisdom and embodied knowing to every family she serves. Motherhood has refined her purpose and strengthened her calling to ensure that every birth is met with dignity, safety, and love. She believes birth is not only physical, but it is also ancestral, emotional, and spiritual, and each soul deserves to be held with intention through this sacred transition.
